"Strange very bright flashing disc over Thousand Oaks..While driving back to work from lunch yesterday at 1:27 (5/26/04) in the afternoon I saw a very bright flashing high in the air. At first I thought it was the glint off a commercial airliner as we are in the flight pattern for LAX but this was not normal as it was higher and much brighter. The object seemed to have a dark bottom and flashed very brightly off the top...It hovered there flashing for a while and then would move very fast then stop. Then it moved slowly South.. There was absolutely no sound..This was not an airplane of any sort as I am an expert in aircraft recognition. Thousand Oaks, California"
