Witness Testimony

"Very fast moving circular object, reddish in colour and glowing, no vapour trails, no flashing lights, no soundOn the evening of Friday 18th March 2005, I was working in the island's capital, St Helier. At approximately 10pm, I went outside for a cigarette break. It was a particularly clear night with not a breath of wind and the stars were out in force. Whilst studying the night sky to my west, I could not help but notice a fast moving object heading in my direction (east), flying at a guestimated height of 10,000ft. It passed overhead and was gone in a matter of seconds. The observations I made that struck me as being odd (in no particular order) were; the circular shape of the object the "reddish" colour and glow associated with the object the lack of vapour trails no flashing lights no sound whatsoever the speed at which the object was traveling (it was immense even by a modern jet fighters standards!) Being an aviation enthusiast, I know an aircraft when I see one. However, bearing in mind the aforementioned characteristics, I am somewhat miffed by what I saw."
