"Trained observer, professional, was performing my duties on SIUE school campus, when for some unknown reason I looked up and observed a green in color sphere traveling east to west in a fast straight line, it had a soft green glow and was faster than aircraft I have seen in this area, no aviation lights were seen and as fast as was going it made no sound, no meteor tail was seen, just a green glowing orb. when it finished crossing the campus it disappeared, just went off, like a light bulb, just winked off and never seen it again the remainder of the night.
