Witness Testimony

"I had just finished talking to my wife and was taking our 2 labs out in our back yard, which is fenced in with a privacy fence. every night i sit on a chair and look up at the sky while my dogs do there thing. i only see planes as i live about 5 miles from an airport. twice i have seen a shooting star but tonight was different. tonight my skin crawled. i was looking up at the northeastern sky a was looking at my normal spot as i have a window between the foliage. out of nowhere way up in the sky near the stars it seemed as if a small star suddenly joined the group. the stars were thin in numbers tonight. this small ^star^ suddenly grew or opened into this magnificent radiant light that did not shine down or give off additional light. i swear it was half the size of the moon but that could be due to actual proximity of the object. this circular white light was only open or available for a few seconds then it abruptly closed, diminished, or shrunk into nothing within a second. i was beating on our window trying to get my wife to see it. she did not make it in time. the hair on my arms was standing as i recounted by brief encounter/ sighting and started marking objects in the sky such as stars, traffic, moon location, and cloud cover. everything was the same in the sky after the encounter as it was in the beginning.
