Witness Testimony

"My mother and I were driving back home around 11:15pm, and spotted a weird looking burnt-orange colored glowing ball in the sky. As this is the only road we can take to get home, we're on it just about every night. We know there aren't any streetlights/radio towers/etc that could have explained this odd sighting; and we know what stars are commonly seen.As we were cresting a hill, there appeared a large and brightly glowing orange orb. It was like an old orangy-looking streetlight in color. It appeared to be very far off, beyond average plane height; and seemed to be staying in place. After a few moments the object gave the impression of growing larger, then returned to its original size. It then started slowly moving north-east, as it picked up speed. We lost sight of the object as we continued driving.The entire event lasted no more than 20 minutes, from what we could see.It didn't appear ominous or interactive. It sat there like it was observing something, or waiting for something."
