"I was driving, saw this about 1/4 mile to my left, about 1500' up. Did not dare slow down or stop, it was dark, late and my gas gauge was about on empty. A day or so later I read in the local newspaper (and I think I still have the clipping) that RCMP (Police officers) had seen virtually the same thing about the same time, about 150 miles north of here. I just happened to glance to my left when it caught my eye. I did not see it move. I wonder what it was, even now. I lost sight of it as I continued driving home. I was about 5 miles out of the city, returning from a 500 mile trip."
