Witness Testimony

"me and my friend were sitting outside on the front steps, facing south. the moon was to the left more, so it was kind of at a south east placement. it was heat lightning in the direction behind us. there were clouds going past the moon at a steady pace. there was something that went past it really fast. it was long and skinny, like a cigar. it was going much faster than the clouds. they had a regular pace, the entire duration of us watching the moon. assuming it was just my imagination i said nothing. my friend declared "WHOAH!!! DID YOU SEE THAT?!!?" and i said, "yeah. i thought i imagined it." we continued staring at the moon for quite some time, waiting to see if we could see it again. My initial thought after seeing it was this episode of "wren and stimpy" i saw when i was little, about the yak that paddles in a conoe past the moon. then my friend proceeded to call it the dragon from neverending story. after all the guessing and jokes, we remained outside for about an hour and never saw anything again."
