Witness Testimony

"I was standing outside, in front of my residence, with my son and a friend. We were looking at the stars. My friend first noticed the blinking lights in the sky. We all assumed it was an airplane, or a jet, at first. It was traveling basically from east to west. It repeatedly and very abrubptly would change direction. It was a jagged course, not straight. My friend, who is a veteran, was baffled by the way it was flying. He wondered if it might be a helicopter. I asked him what kind of aircraft flies like that. He didn't know. He could not determine what kind of aircraft we were watching. All the while, there were blinking lights on it, sometimes white, sometimes red. I watched it for about three or four minutes, then quit. My friend got in his car and left, and my son and I went indoors. This happened in the Helena Valley, approximately two miles north of the city limits."
