Witness Testimony

"Mon evening, Dec 2, 2013 at exactly 10:00 p.m. I saw a glowing green orb descend nearly vertically while driving south of Fredericksburg TX on Hwy 16. I was just at the Fair Grounds about a mile from the city limits, so at first I assumed it was a plane on the approach path to the airport, which I was approaching. I saw it in the SE sky but it was so large I thought it was near. Another witness saw the same thing at the same time at intersection of US Hwy 87 and IH-10 at Comfort TXIt made no noise, left no trail. It looked like a roman candle falling to the ground, though much larger. My first thought is that it was a part falling from an airplane on approach to the runway. There was no way to judge size or distance. It was very smooth in path and appearance. It disappeared beneath the treetops. I rolled my window down anticipating an explosion, crash, or fire. But on the remaining 7 mile drive through that area I saw or heard nothing further. "
