SIGHTING: HILLSIDE, RANDFONTEIN (SOUTH AFRICA)

Witness Testimony

"Some time before (or after) September 2000, in Hillside, between Randfontein and Carletonville. I saw plus minus 30-50 flashing, yellow-white lights moving in a gigantic, horizontal figure 8 formation, spanning roughly 4-8 kilometres, while I was driving home from work. Some people were standing outside in the streets looking at it. On the 21st of September 2000 and again on the 24th of September that year, I was approached by a friendly, tall blonde man. He had strikingly perfect features and was completely dressed in black on both occasions. He seemed to be the same age as I was then, which was 22. I saw him across the street, opposite my grandmother's house in Loumarina and he followed me when I went to fetch my baby brother from pre-school a few hundred metres away. He kept on asking me my name. I ignored him, instead kept walking towards the school. He then asked me if he's making me blush! Eventually I got to the school. When I was about to return with my brother he waited for me across the street and asked me my name again. A black Ford, with black tinted windows drove up to him and stopped. He ran towards it, got in and left. Three days later, I saw him in the supermarket on the other side of town when he walked past me and my gran, wearing long black trousers, black shoes and a black T-shirt. I did not recognize him at first, but then, out of the blue he told me: "you did not give me your name yet." I shooked my head at him, because for some reason I felt awkward. He just smiled and walked past us. My gran did not hear, nor noticed him.
