Witness Testimony

"It was around 8:20PM, I had just stepped outside to smoke a cigarette and as usual looked up at the night sky. It was a very clear night. No clouds, just the stars. Just northwest was a big bright light in the sky, bigger than anything I had ever seen flying. I assumed it was a plane crashing and walked towards the street to get a better look. It was a bright white ball of light just hovering. After a moment, it dropped. It dropped straight down out of the sky past the tree tops. It was insanely fast. I listened for a sound. Nothing. I went and turned the news on and nothing, no plane crash, no nothing. I panicked, I swear my heart stopped. It was so far away and in pretty much a desert so I didn't bother going to find out what it was. I was alone at the time, I wasn't brave enough to do it alone."
