Witness Testimony

"On Saturday August 16th at about midnight I was driving home from big bend national park on I-10 going to Houston. As I was driving I saw a extremely bright green light in the sky. After it appeared my girlfriend shouted "Did you see that?!?!?!" I was still in shock as she said that so it took a few seconds to reply... At first we thought it might have been a meteorite but there was NO trail behind it. Thought it might have been an airplane but it was moving extremely fast and was only visible for about 1/2 of a second. It couldn't have been a satellite or shooting star because it appeared to be flying at the same height as an airplane...The next morning when we woke up I decided to check the news to see if anyone else saw the light. Nothing in our area but for some reason there was an actually news clip on yahoo news of a bright green ball flying in the sky during a forest fire. When we saw that we had an instant chill run down our spine! We weren't able to snap pics because the light only lasted about one half of a second... "
