Witness Testimony

" Single hovering light that swayed over Lake Huron.I am staying at my daughter's, watching my grandson. She and my son-in-law were at the hospital for the birth of their second son. I went outside to enjoy the stars and moon and give thanks for the events of the day. I live the city so the night sky here is clear. Off to the east over Lake Huron (based on the distance), I saw a single flashing light in an oval shape. Initially, I thought is was from a small plane but is was hovering and swaying a bit. I kept watching it to see what it would do, and the--Zoom, it flew to the southwest in a flash with a trail of light and was gone. I don't know how long it was there before I went outside, but I watched it for about five minutes (the time it takes to smoke a cigarette).I am retired from the United States Air Force and had been stationed at Wurtsmith AFB, Oscoda, Michigan, until its closure. I had heard for years about the existence of UFOs from my colleagues in the Air Force but never experienced it myself until last night. "
