Witness Testimony

"My husband was outside and called my Brother and I to come look. Exactly west of our house above the mountains we noticed a bright white light that was not moving. It gradually got brighter and brighter. We noticed that the light split into 2 smaller lights (the light split from top to bottom, not side to side) and then came back together. We watched through binoculars and could not see anything unusual other than it was very bright. It never seemed to move one way or the other but eventually it started dimming and then would get bright again towards the end, it started strobbing until it just went out. We watched for aprox. 7 minutes and in that I time I called our Neighbor whom were also able to observe the last minute or so. I also wanted to confirm with the neighbors that this light was well above any mountain range. The incident started at about 7:29pm and ended about 7:36 pm. on Oct. 12th 2014. Probably the oddest thing was the military (?) jet that appeared from the same direction of the object (heading from West to East) withing 10 seconds of the light disappearing. The jet was flying above the clouds but the light object was in clear view."
