Witness Testimony
"My husband and I were standing on our porch, looking up at the sky for northern lights. When all of a sudden, we looked out towards the end of the runway of the airport. The airport is on an island with woods surrounding it. About 1/10th of a mile from the end of the runway, back in the woods, we saw a starlike object rise above the trees and, ascend into the sky. It was moving at medium speed, and we knew it wasn't a helicopter or any kind of human aircraft. The object kept going up and up until it stopped, about 500-1,000 feet in the air. When it stopped, it looked exactly like a star, and the clouds covered it and I didn't see it again. 3 minutes later an Alaska Airlines jet landed. About 5 hours later, we saw the same thing, but it was more towards the middle of the runway. It had gotten cloudy so I did not see the object stop, as the clouds were blocking my view. I have no explanation for this! "
