Witness Testimony

"We were watching shooting stars from the west when all of a sudden, two members of our eight person group noticed a bright orange light. We all looked and observed this light ascend into the sky over period of 15 seconds. We saw four more of these, sometimes two at one time in the sky hovering to the same location. Every time, the light got closer and closer. The fifth and final time, it came close enough for us to get very nervous and run back to our campsites. After the second object, we had backed off into the nearby tree line in hopes of not being noticed. We observed these while on the shores of Lake Saint Catherine around 10:30 PM. These were not fireworks, as we observed other campers lighting off firecrackers before and during the sightings a little distance away. These objects made no noise. Some members stated that as one light dimmed when it reached the tops of the trees, there was a metallic disk that could be observed behind it. Each light dimmed once it reached the top, allowing another light to make its way across the sky."
