"A friend and I were on the Hudson river looking towards West Mountain just before Sunset. Two military looking helicopters go by so we look up and then after that we see what looks like a huge shooting star ! (but more of a solid light ) go across the sky and go towards the tree line towards west mountains. It was definitely something I’ve never seen or truly can describe . We were waiting to see an explosion or some type of crash landing but then it just disappeared! "
