Witness Testimony

" on february 9, 2017 at 7:33pm my wife who was on her way home from work called me at home and said she was heading west into palatine bridge and saw a strange light over the mohawk river. as she turned south to cross the bridge into canajoharie she noticed a man on the bridge looking at the light. she told me this over the phone. we live about 3 mile south of canajoharie, she asked me to look towards canajoharie to see if i saw a light in the sky. i told her no. she continued home and when she arrived she said when she came down our road the light is down here now. i went upstairs to a west window in the house and could see it. she came up and we were both watching it. it vibrated from left to right about 5 - 10 time per second then stopped. it appeared to get brighter then dimmer. i then went outside to look at it. it appeared to be about 1/2 mile west of my location approximately 500-1000 feet in the air. it moved south a little then stopped. i went and got my binoculars to get a better look. it appeared round on the top bright sky blue color with long narrow triangle shapes coming out of the bottom which were bright white, seemed to flicker a little. i watched it from 7:40 till 8:00 pm. i then went in my house because it was 7 degrees outside and i only had a thin jacket on. i check a few minutes later out the window and didn't see it. the moon was out on the east side of my house. no clouds, clear sky. saw no other air traffic in the area."
