Witness Testimony

"Was on my patio skywatching which i do each nightNoticed bright light coming from the northwest moving to the southeastI looked through the binoculars and noted no navigation lights so knew it was not a plane or helicopterI have seen other liights in the sky and this was a good one as i could see it really well without using binoculars and it was traveling right past me.I noticed an airplane which at first i thought it was just flying by but then it seemed to be trying to catch the light, as the light moved past me i could clearly tell that the airplane or jet, not sure which was speeding up and catching up to the light. It never overtook it and it appeared to be a little lower and to the right of the light and remained there for as long as i could see both of them.I watched through the binoculars which have a field of 367ft. At 1000yds. I could see both objects through binoculars with the airplane lower and to the right and in my field of vision through binoculars just barely in the field of vision as they were going away from me to the s/eThe light apeared to be much larger than the plane both viewed with my eyes and through binoculars but i really could not tell for sure. As the light/plane moved away i could see the light starting to fade out but the lights on the plane did not then the light was gone and i could see a tiny red color then it diappeared but i could still see the plane lights and it was still going in the same direction As if it were still following the light then i started to lose sight of the plane also then it was over.I would hope that pilot would file a report. Also i saw other planes during the sighting go byBut seemed much lower than the light and plane. Really is mind blowing to see these thingsBut to see a plane following one was really something."
