Witness Testimony

"I was approaching my front lawn from a walk, and my eyes were drawn to a bright, white, circular orb in the sky about 75-80 degrees from horizontal in the East-Southeast direction. The orb was about ten times larger than the largest star or planet reflection I've seen and about a hundred times smaller than the moon. It was about the size of a green traffic light (light only) from about 5-6 car lengths away. The clearly-defined orb grew in size very slightly, but rapidly, with fuzzy edges, like an ever so slight fuzzy edge burst, then it seemed to suck the light back in or collapse inward and was gone. Thinking it was fantastic, I looked at my android to record the time, then I sat outside on the driveway for about ten minutes looking upward for a return performance, or any sign of a plane in flight, or anything to explain what I saw. I noticed the area in which I saw the orb was in the vicinity of a small cluster of stars whose name I do not know. Obviously it wasn't as far away as the star cluster, but the small constellation was a landmark that I noticed while I was sitting there. I only saw the orb for a second or two and got no pictures, so I'm sure this will be marked as "Insufficient data," or might be a common phenomenon associated with something explainable, but I wanted to report it just in case any other people had a similar experience and had more evidence than I.
