"Observed this object on the ground, but looked like car tail lights. Didnt pay much attention to, until it raised into the air. Object went straight up to about 1000 feet. Then flew southwest for several minutes.And Reversed direction now headed to the northeast. As it came closer it looked like an aircraft, because of the marker lights on it. Object was know at about an elevation of about 5000 feet as it flew over us. My son looked at it through binoculars as it flew over and said it was triangle shaped. I took the binoculars and caught a brief glance of it as it went over the trees, and sure enough it was triangle shaped. "
