" from: jim quade sent: sunday, may 3, 2020 12:02 pm to: [email protected] subject: lights in the sky my wife and i go out each night to look at the stars and see what is happening. last night we went out and way up in the sky i seen stars, or what looked like a stars, that were moving. there were 6 in a row spaced quite a distance apart but one following the other. they came from the west and heading east, as they got a short distance east of us they would disappear, all about the same location. after about 3 went by there was one that came from the south and crossed the path of the others to the north, then also disappeared. there weren't any more that we seen last night. back in jan. i had seen something quite similar. there were 6 star like lights that were moving toward the east but in a more random pattern, and one was blinking on and off several times in a small area of the sky right above me. i was outside myself that night so the wife didn't see those ones. the night before this we had seen a couple that night so that had encouraged me to look again this night. on the night of 5/4/20 i stepped outside to check things out and again i saw lights moving across the sky west to east at about the same location as the night before and with distances between them about the same also. now i am wondering if it isn't just satellites that i am seeing, this was about 10:30 pm so just a few minutes earlier than the night before and i only seen 3 instead of 6, so i may have been a little late already to see the rest of them. the reason they disappear i am thinking is because they are getting around the earth enough that they fall out of the sunlight on the easterly trek? i live about 10 miles south of roundup, mt., north of billings. jim quade"
