Witness Testimony
"I saw a strange bright light last night at 11:30pm towards the west coastal way, I live in the San Joaquin Valley as sw and rural as you can live below the Mt. Pinos/Mt. Able mountain range. We were out in the fields taking our dogs for a run and I noticed a more oval shape than round bright light in the sky, a little bigger than the brightest star and it wasn't moving. For about 5 seconds it was alone and suddenly a streak of light came out of the bottom, same color of light and another object appeared out from the streak and this one had a blinking light, a little smaller and round in shape, same color of light, but the blinking light was brighter. It just stayed there for a couple of seconds directly under the larger object, but then it started dropping very slowly, dropping, dropping, dropping until it wasn't visible just above the horizon, then the light just disappeared. The larger oval shaped one was still there, but the streak below it had disappeared by that time. It was there for about 15 more seconds and during that entire time, it was slowing disappearing. I have never seen anything like it, my husband saw it as well so I know I wasn't seeing things. Did anyone else see anything like this towards the west? It was plainly visible and was approximately mid-sky above the western horizon. I did have my cell phone, but I was afraid if I stopped looking, by the time I grabbed my phone, turned the camera on, it would already be gone, but I did want to and in retrospect, I would've had time. My husband witnessed the latter end of what I saw, he didn't see the light drop the smaller bright light that had the blinking light, but he watched it drop until it disappeared. He was off with the dogs while I stayed in the truck keeping warm. Plus, it was a full moon last night and the stars were few, so this light really stood out, that's what made me notice it. He had just walked up to load the dogs in the back of the truck, I looked up and told him to start looking at what I just saw, he focused on it, and saw two lights by then, the streak was gone, too. I was kinda freaking out by then, one of those moments you don't know what you're seeing. Anyone see anything I hope?"
