Witness Testimony

"I was driving along and saw what I thought were a couple of stars. Then, I noticed that it was something cigar-shaped, and at one end there was a flashing red light, and at the other end, there was a flashing white light. I figured it must be a plane, but then I noticed that it didn't seem to be moving. When I stopped at a stop sign, I watched it for about 30 seconds, and it didn't move at all, but the lights were flashing. When I drove by a couple of minutes later, it was gone."
