Witness Testimony

"I was leaving my sister's home in robbinston and being a very clear night, i looked up and pointed out the prominence of the milky way. i then looked a bit north/northeast and saw a bright light/collection of lights. we had seen a similar phenomena, the same time of year, 3 years ago. my sister and i went inside and viewed the object/lights with a pair of binoculars from her back patio. the lights were both hovering but also made rapid movements and then went rapidly back to the original site of hovering. this object appeared to be very far away but it was clearly not a celestial body. we remained on her deck viewing the lights for about 15 more minutes and then i left to return to my home in calais. when home, i told my father about the event and we both went outside to see if it was still visible. it was. i took still and digital video images. when i then viewed the stills on the computer, a chevron-shaped object, with lights on its' "wings" was clearly shown. i took multiple photos. what is interesting is that in images that showed the object, no stars were visible surrounding it. however, when i took photos in other parts of the sky, the stars were clearly visible in the photo images. nothing showed up in with the digital video function however. i would like to note that my father is a retired engineer, mit alumnus, very scientific, practical, and skeptical. he agrees we were viewing a ufo, something he has never seen. the object has been hovering for over 3 hours now and its position has only changed by 20 degrees or so and does not follow the path of the constellations.The constellations taurus, auriga, perseus have all passed with the object remaining in the same general vicinity. it is currently closest to triangula. if it follows the pattern of 3 years ago, i expect it to be visible more than just this one night in the coming weeks."
