"The object can best be described as resembling a figure 8 or two ovoids connected by a short tube. One half seemed slightly smaller and had voids - something like the head of a tennis racquet but with parallel bars, rather than a grid. It's seemed to be all black and was silent. It was impossible to judge the size of the object as there was no reference point against which to compare it. It was slow moving and heading east south east. (Winds were north-west). It was traveling over and across lake st. Louis."
