"End august / beginning september in 1976, 1977 or 1978 i went for a walk with the dog. my first position was about n 49.572562 e 6.161799. as the luxembourg airport is not far away, i was habituated in airplanes (jets). so, the object approaching from west was firstly an airplane approaching the findel airport for me. i was awaiting the noise from the jetstraems. but, there were none. so i looked a second time and saw a cigar-like silver objekt with three aligned orange-pulsing round lights at the bottom. i stared at the objekt, while it continued it's route over my head, without any noise. this confounded and banned me. as the building in the east existed already, i precipated to have free sight. over the fields (where now are buildings) the objekt turned to bright white and changed direction abruptly towards sky. in an hight, that must correspond with a satellite-orbit, it changed direktion once again towards north.. very much faster than an aircraft (that i knew well). i never saw a thing like this before or after. i was at the age of 15 - 17. after the abrupt lift-off over the fields i run at home to show my mother the objekt - all time pursuiving it ... my mother saw the glowing globe in the sky - faster than a satellite."
