Witness Testimony

"This was just south of the intersection of 128th and james st. i was walking home from work and i saw the shadow. it is kind of boomerang shaped with jagged edges. sort of a check mark, longer on one side. it appeared to be slightly larger than a person and absolutely nothing about it moved separate from the whole thing, not even the frayed edges at the end. first i thought, bat then hawk then i wasn't sure because it was big and didn't appear to have moving parts. maybe a turkey buzzard? wrote down the time in my phone and that made me think maybe it was phantom shadows because the intersection was pretty busy and there is a signal and street light. while i was looking at my phone i caught it reappear in a clearing in the treetops. i caught it out of the corner of my eye and it appeared to be almost wispy, like a cloud. the shape was longer and seemed less there but i caught it out of the corner of my eye. this thing moved from west to east away from a busy area with open businesses. it felt a little unreal, like being in an eighties movie. it felt like bad graphics on sky. maybe there's some video footage from a business? i didn't hear anything because i was wearing earbuds and listening to music. just my music. i walked home from work and seemed fairly uneventful besides some really weird screeching downtown, once to the east of 13th and maple and again to the west of 15th and maple, almost like a bunny dying or at least how i imagined a bunny dying sounds. i passed a black cat that really wanted inside the button cam shop and i don't blame him. the sounds were at about 12:05 am.
