Witness Testimony

"It was around 4am on christmas morning & i'd just woken up on the sofa - i had been waiting on my partner coming home from work (he works as a chef, so is often home late -even later when he goes to the pub after! but anyway...) i went out onto the balcony for a smoke before getting ready for bed. as soon as i went out i noticed a strange light over port philip bay, bright red & stationary in the sky, i have no idea how long it had been there for. it started to drift upwards at a 30-45 degree angle - almost like a ballon drifting in the wind & i even thought - must be some folks down on the beach with chinese lanterns but then it stopped & darted horizontally to the left (to trace its pattern it looked like 7) then it would stop, drop in height & performed other manoeuvres that i've never seen before (i've lived in this apartment for 2 years & regularly watch the planes on their flight paths, helicopters, etc - i know what is a normal occurrence & what is not) the lights also changed from red to white, not flashing, it was always solid colour for a few minutes then would change. every time it performed a fast movement, there was a delay before you heard it - like a jet. it was about 25 degrees that night,the sky was clear, the air was warm, calm & silent but for the occasional woooooosh that broke through the stillness. it was completely bizarre - i sat for about 15 mins absolutely mesmerised watching it - too scared that if i left to go grab a camera i would miss the 'big moment' of it shooting up into the sky. that moment never came - it just eventually dropped out of my line of sight & never reappeared. needless to say, i completely regret not managing to get any of it on film but i can remember it all clear as day - i'll never forget it. i've always had an open mind to ufo's & things of that nature, but did have a slight 'i'd have to see it to believe it' mentality. and i really believe that what i saw that night was a ufo (also making me think twice about the 'shooting star' i saw over a year ago). i started looking for answers & am in the middle of watching sirius disclosure when they mentioned your website & i had to stop watching & post about what i saw. thank you for providing this space where people can share their experiences."
