Witness Testimony

"My wife, daughter and i witnessed the following on the night of thursday march 19th around 22:30, near melbourne, australia. i was brushing my teeth whilst looking out the bathroom window, and noticed three lights darting around the sky in. a pattern, but sometimes changing the pattern, and changing course. i called my wife and daughter to come and see, and we all went out to our back verandah to watch what was happening. these lights appeared greenish to our eyes, but bluish on the videos. we observed them for around 40 minutes before retiring to bed. the lights appeared to be above the clouds, and we could only see them through the lighter part of the clouds. at one point the sky lit up brightly in a bright blue colour as far as the eye could see, and my daughter thought it looked purple / red. this was followed by a metallic groaning noise, that had a lot of low frequency in it. we also observed some disc shaped objects, and my wife managed to take a photograph of one, and also some vertical video of it. i attached some zoomed in pictures of this too, and it looks exactly like an object that was reported in kansas a few hours before we saw this. i realised this when i was searching the mufon sightings database, and according to the time, we calculate that if this event occurred in kansas around 21:00 local time on march 18th (13:00 hours in melbourne au on march 19th), then our sighting of this similar object happened approximately 9 and a half hours after the kansas sighting. could it be the same object, or just the same type of object?"
