Witness Testimony

"We all vacation at our family's cabin on the north shores of Lake Michigan on the three day weekend holidays and we stay after Labor Day at our cabin located right off US 2, 30 miles west of St Ignace. we take telescopes and use binoculars to view the brilliant sky's at night there, were always in the yard at night viewing the night sky. I was watching a movie for a while and everybody went to bed. I went out on the front porch steps facing north (yes I smoke) to smoke a cig and the traffic was very quiet and I always look to the North towards US 2 highway, it was around 1.30 AM and I noticed two lights just below the tree tops and I thought to myself car headlights are not that far up in the trees and those two lights beamed down into the lake and I know the depths of that water by our cabin for being there my whole life, it was beaming down into about three feet of water with steam rising off the water, they didn't move they just stayed there and I could see just a break into about three inches of the water, they stayed there for about three seconds and they retracted back into the two beams and spun to the East as they retracted and it was gone and there was a car or loud truck coming before that. the picture is to the north towards US 2 and the lights were to the left of this pic just starting to break in the dip, so if you take this picture, add three more to the left of it that was the distance into the water, headlights do not go that distance, or point down. I sat out there for another hour watching but never seen nothing else,,, I seen more out there too!
