SIGHTING: CASA GRANDE, AZ

Witness Testimony

"On 02/16/2017 at around 6:50 am, I was driving westbound on McCartney Rd nearing I-10 when I noticed a bright round object appear in the sky about 15 miles northwest of the Casa Grande airport and over the Copper Ranch area. At first I thought it was the moon just becoming visible through the cloudy haze, but I noticed the moon was in a different location and the object was Not the moon. As I continued to watch, a light resembling a triangle appeared underneath the object for a few seconds and then the entire object just vanished! There were several vehicles in the area as well, so I know I was not the only witness who saw the object appear and disappear. The object was not a weather balloon or similar craft. The object was very visible for the short time it appeared and at the time, it was just getting light or at dawn before sunrise. I can also describe the size of the object as very huge! I was unable to get a picture or video of this because the object only became visible for about 5 to 8 seconds, not a lot of time to react. This account seems pretty fantastic, but I assure you, I would not be reporting this sighting if it didn't occur. I also checked the web for similar sightings and it seems there are quite a lot of UFO sightings over the years reported in the Casa Grande and nearby areas. I don't know what else to say except this object was definitely not of this earth! As for my own personal record of this event, I am publicly naming this sighting as the Copper Ranch UFO. "
