Witness Testimony

" I was on my back porch looking up at the stars around 10:20 eastern time, when I observed what looked to be a shooting star. It moved very fast straight down toward the ground in a white ball of light. I was on the phone with a friend and I told them what I saw. Maybe a minute later I saw something moving at a decent speed moving towards the front of my house. I first noticed it right above where I saw the "shooting star". This object looked simular to a medium sized star. It wasn't big and bright. The light was solid and there was nothing blinking. I ran to the front of my house to keep an eye. Lost of for a few minutes and spotted it again. It seemed to have changed directions. It seemed to be very high in the sky. Higher than any airplane. Then I noticed it looked like it was going up higher. I eventually lost it.To quick some the description up, small white ball of light coasting through the sky. Did not seem to have a direct path as would an airplane. Traveling west and seemed to be going up after ithe reached a certain point.When I noticed it, I was on the phone with my boyfriend, and he told me to call the UFO hot line. Can't say for sure if it was a UFO, but definitely was not an airplane.((NUFORC Note: We spoke with the female witness, who submitted the report, and she corrected the date, which had not been indicated in the original report.
