Witness Testimony

"Filled out for witness from a letter sent to mufon headquarters, by field investigator l. flechtner 18809, on july 19th, 2017 i tried three times to call the witness but the phone was busy, i wanted to get more details to fill out on the report. print screened the original letter and attached it on the bottom ------------------------------------------------------------------ all i know is what i saw along with my older brother, and my mother in the winter of 1953. i walked to within fifty feet of a very unusual object. back then, ufos as they have come to be called, was not part of our terminology. it was a late winter night 9 or 10 pm. my mother heard our dog growling, we listened and heard a humming noise. it was high pitched and then went down low in volume then back up to a high pitch. we thought it was the radio, and then the refrigerator. she then opened the back door to look out. she was looking towards the far end of our yard about 200' where normally it opened up to a large open field, but in this instance there was a string of lights abut 8 to 10' apart and the humming was now low and steady. there was a slight blink to the lights. it seemed it had a saucer shape and the middle was rotating. as it rotated a solid part momentarily covered the lighted windows, causing a blinking sensation. my mother, brother and i moved towards it to within 50' trying to figure out what it was. my dog hid behind us, not at all like him. mom decided we needed to go into the house and go to bed. the next day their was 6 to 8 inches of snow on the ground. the snow was depressed where the saucer was hovering, but strangely not melted."
