Witness Testimony

"I had gone outside with my dog and happened to look up in the ne part of the sky and saw two very large, brilliant, sequential flashes of light, diagonal in the sky. they lasted for a second or less and were much larger than the stars and much, much brighter. it was around 10-10:15 pm. afterwards. there seemed to be a lot of planes in the sky flying from west to east, like they were combing the sky. i have no idea what they were, or what could create such a huge flash, almost like a strobe. the flashes did not illuminate the sky or land. i took all the pillows from the lawn furniture and stayed outside with my eyes glued on the ne quadrant of the sky until 12:45 am. lots of satellites and a few meteors, but nothing like those flashes of light. i just kept asking myself what they could be. if i had blinked or not been looking in that part of the sky, i would have missed them. i have no idea. they were just huge and made everything else in the sky seem small and dim afterwards. that's what i kept thinking about-how small and dim the stars and visible planets seemed in comparison with these flashes.
