Witness Testimony

"My wife and i were in the pool in the late afternoon (5:20 pm pacific daylight time) when i noticed an object that looked like a white box kite traveling east to west. as soon as i brought it to my wife's attention, it began to look more circular. we first thought it might be a plastic bag that had been picked up by a thermal, but it didn't act the way others we have seen have acted. it was impossible to tell the height of the object, but it was moving at what seemed to be a fairly rapid pace. it slowed, stopped, and made a decisive 90° turn to the south. it moved slowly to the south for a short period, then stopped and stayed stationary. at that point, i went into the house to retrieve some binoculars while my wife observed the object which continued to sit stationary all during the time i was in the house. when i came out and attempted to bring the object into view in the binoculars, my wife noticed that a second object, similar to the first, had appeared close to, and at a 1:00 position, to the first. they continued to hold stationary for a short period. the second object disappeared, and within seconds, the first object also disappeared. while i was never able to view them through the binoculars, my wife was. she could discern no shape other than a white, shiny orb, but there was no way to discern height, size, or specific shape as the sky was clear, blue and devoid of other objects. even though the objects were observed near the landing approach to phoenix sky harbor international airport, there were no planes landing during the time of the sighting.
