"I and my wife were on vacation in montego bay jamaica feb 28th-march 7th. we went by the beach at approx 10:35 pm march 3or 4th to look at the stars and noticed a object over the ocean. it was clearly moving very fast from east to west approx 2000 feet above the water maybe a mile or 2 from shore. we witnessed this object for 20-30 seconds. it made no noise. it may have had dim lights or it might have been the reflection of street lights off of the craft. it did not land or take off, just kept traveling in a straight by westerly direction.I have never ever seen something like this before.Passenger planes fly over the resort all the time and this object moved way faster. i asked a local security guard that worked the night shift if he had ever seen anything like that and he said no. my wife and i were not startled by the event but were very surprised. we have told only a few trusted people but still not without getting dirty looks so i don't boast about this event. "
