Witness Testimony

"I was driving home the thruway west on route 90 i was about a mile from syracuse at right about 950pm. there was a kind of light green light in the shape of a beam to the ground from above semi low cloud cover. the beam looked very thin as if the size a single being could fit. it illuminated the sky surrounding and was gone in seconds. i realize this isn’t an actual siting but figured i report it in case anyone else saw the same thing or more than me. overall it was very quick and not much more to state. if there was a structure the light came from i couldn’t see it, the beam of light was coming through some low lying clouds. for what it’s worth it didn’t seem like the beam extended above the clouds. it was directly ahead of me and very slightly to my left as i was about a mile from the syracuse 481 exit off routw 90 thruway in new york."
