Witness Testimony

"I first seen the orb slowly drifting north at approximately 2000ft at an initial distance of approximately 1 mile. the orb would fade away completely for several seconds every 10 seconds or so to then reappear at a position that did not correspond with its trajectory when visible. i estimate a speed of about 50 mph. the final time the orb appeared it was approximately 5 miles away. on this occasion however, the orb shot down about 500ft at such a speed that its movement appeared as a white line. the orb then disappeared and i didn’t see it again. i have experience of flying light aircraft but do not hold a license myself so i consider myself able to identify conventional aircraft."
