Witness Testimony

"The other witness and i have been observing the international space station for about three years now and have observed it at least 40+ times. we know exactly what the iss looks like passing overhead. we use nasa's "spot the station" for notifications of when the iss will be within view from our proximity. at exactly 6:21 am cst on the morning of august 24, the iss appeared right on schedule, exactly at the location nasa provided in their email. we stepped out the back door, looked up to the ssw and there it was, the iss.. to me it appeared a little brighter than usual, especially since the sun was coming up and the sky was getting lighter. there was a broken layer of high cirrus clouds, i would estimate at over 30 thousand feet. there were a couple openings in the clouds and i expected the iss to disappear above the clouds, to appear in the open areas of sky. there were two large clouds in alignment with the path of the iss, as the iss approached the first cloud, i expected to lose sight temporarily until it appeared in the clear sky past the cloud. the iss passed beneath the cloud and i turned to the other witness and asked if she had seen that, and she replied yes. there was still the other cloud in the path of the iss, so we were prepared to watch very closely to make sure our eyes weren't playing tricks on us, the object we were watching passed beneath this cloud also. i turned to the other witness and asked if she saw that, and she confirmed that she did. i asked her, do you feel this is an illusion, or maybe we saw the iss through the cloud? no, neither of us thought it was any kind of illusion or that we saw the iss through the cloud. the object we saw was definitely beneath the cloud. we were watching very closely."
