SIGHTING: CHINO VALLEY, ARIZONA (UNITED STATES)

Witness Testimony

"At my property, watched the sun set with my spouse, 1/3 moon was up with a planet near by, only one other star had appeared at the time of the sighting. was scanning the skies looking for possible ufo's. had only seen obvious airplane's up until the sighting, up to 6 airplane's in the sky at any given time, it was a clear night with a very good near 360 degree view of the horizon. was scanning the sky above the horizon in a west / north west direction panning towards the north, slowly and methodically. spotted a bright object in the still lightened sky after the sun had all ready set. not in the yellowish lower horizon, but above that and above the light blue into the darker blue area. it was small, distant, circle to oval shaped, bright white to slightly yellow colored (possibly by the setting sun shining up at its underside). at the very moment i spotted it, the object darted away to the right and away from my viewing angle, with a slight arc to the left and up. if i held my arm fully extended out straight with my hand pointing up, the approximate width of my hand would be similar to the distance i observed the object traveled in the sky before vanishing. the second half of it's flight path was brighter than the first half. it appeared to leave a trail in the sky for a short instance after it vanished. i approximate a 1/2 second of observation from spotting it, till it vanished from view, followed by another 1/2 second of visible trail of it's flight path till the trail vanished. not sure if the trail was really left behind or trick of sorts played upon the eyes by witnessing a bright object dart away at very high speed? 1 hour later, witnessed as did my spouse a meteorite directly overhead streak across the then dark night sky, heading down toward the horizon and being brightest at first sight then dimming to burned out. contrary to the ufo seen earlier. to be clear, my spouse did not observe the ufo."
