Witness Testimony

"I've experienced this phenomenon two times in my life. after the second experience in nov. 2019, i decided to seek explanation. the first occurrence was in the late 80's and viewed by both my first wife (kathy lambert) and myself. to describe this occurrence, late afternoon, one hour from sundown. we witnessed a sparkling small object, flyling horizontally to the ground 3-4 ft above the ground at a rate of speed i would estimate to be 40mph. there was a cracking sound that we both heard and the object was 100 ft from us. the appearance would be best described as a fireworks sparkler. definitely not fireworks, remote area with no one in the area. the second occurrence was only witnessed by me alone in nov. 2019. i was walking around my neighborhood which i do daily. the time was twilight. i witnesses this time a blue glowing ball, again i would estimate 4 in in size. the appearance i would describe as a blue ember, but travellling approx. 40 mph. not a floating ember from a fire for example, moving too fast and traveling parallel to the ground 20 ft above the ground and no more than 30 ft from me. very close. no sound. i viewed this object for perhaps 3-4 sec. as a backdrop, was two houses so the depth perception of it's proximity to me was very clear. the object appeared to "burn out" and disappeared. i'm hoping with mufon's vast experiences , you can provide some reasonable, logical explanation for what i have experienced. i am a well educated, well respected member of the community, i can find no reasonable explanation. i think of perhaps a meteor, but the parallel path of travel and the near proximity to the ground i think rules this out. any information is appreciated "
