Witness Testimony

"I was at my mother's house. a family friend came upstairs. he asked if i would look at the evening star. i replied i would. my mom and i went to the front deck. there was a very bight light in the sky. our friend stated he had never seen a star that bright. i told him it wasn't a star. it was foggy from the rain earlier in the day. this was the only thing visible in the sky. it was above the tree tops. i can't estimate the altitude. i know it wasn't an airplane because only a harrier or osprey can hover like this. nor was it a helicopter. there was no noise to indicate an engine. it moved to our left, rapidly. the object then climbed higher, returned to its original position, moved right then down. all turns made abruptly. i tried to take pictures with my cell but had to continuously move to keep the object in frame, which i did not do well. our friend brought out a pair of binoculars. i could make out a shape like a giant hershey's kiss, but with three divisions. it reminded me of the returning space capsules with the three parachutes or the shuttle booster rocker with three engines. i have never seen anything like it. after about five minutes we went inside. it must have flown off. when i left a couple hours later it was no longer there. the evening was still very foggy. there was still not moonlight nor starlight."
