Witness Testimony

"I was woken by my dogs barking. i went to the window to look out to see a strange bright “star” in the sky where i didn’t notice before. i kept looking at it until all of a sudden it shot 5-6 smaller “lights” out of it (like a fire work). these lights were bright but smaller than the “main star” which stayed the same size. these smaller lights moved very quickly in a perfect “fireworks” pattern and then came back underneath the “main star”. main star then got slightly brighter and then just disappeared like a “pop”. no sound and just disappeared. i was too embarrassed to report it and i’m just curious is it something that could be explained? "
