Witness Testimony

"8 pm. On this cool fall evening, we got together with some neighbors for a cookout and a couple of drinks. By around 9:30pm it's plenty dark, and I see a bright spinning disk with a purple glow drift between a gap in the trees. I couldn't tell how far away it was and dismissed it as someone flying a droan, that is...until it changed shape and color behind the trees. It was now a white ball and grew very small. Almost like a faint distant star. It drifted very slowly into the gap in the trees and stopped. Then moved back behind the trees again and grew into a larger white light. By now, I am really wondering what this is and I ask the group, "What is that? Are you guys seeing this?" One of my friends stands up, and as she does....the light turns back to a purple disk and shoots off with lightening speed and disappears into thin air. She said she saw it too. I asked "What color was it?" She said purple. My husband also said he saw a light shining through the trees but was busy talking and didnt give it much thought. At least I wasn't the only one who saw it. Was very peculiar and I cant explained it. I dont know of any droan or toy that can shape shift in so many different ways. Was definitely unexplained."
