SIGHTING: LAREDO, TX

Witness Testimony

"On that night around 11-12am, I was with my gf at the time talking outside her parents house. She spotted something in the sky and told me to look at it which I did. At first I thought it was a plastic bag being carried by the wind (it was very windy, clear sky that night ) as the color of it reminded me of the city street lamps . Then as this thing kept moving in a straight line closer to us I realized this was no bag, no airplane, no helicopter, no drone (not sure if they were even available back then . This thing was a perfect disc shaped object flying from SE to NW , at around an altitude of 400 to 1000 ft above ground level. I’m estimating the altitude because I do not know the exact size of the object but that would be my best guess it was very close to the ground . It made no noise as it flew over us, no visible strobe lights or directional lights either. The color , it was like an orangey-like, it had light but it was not throwing it out. Best way I can describe it is if you put a flashlight on the palm of you hand and look at it through the top part , that color you get on the skin that’s how it looked. I did also saw very tiny white lights surrounding the disc. We were both speechless of what we were looking at , we both knew EXACTLY what it was. The object kept traveling NW I’d say maybe at a rate of 100-150mph. Most of Laredo is Class D airspace I believe so any air traffic control or airport control operators should’ve definitely seen that, and if you did see it you weren’t alone we both saw it also ."
