"While traveling north on rapid lightning, my husband, myself and a family friend observed a bright silver disc hovering motionless in the sky above a ridge just east of us. Distance appeared to be about a mile. The object was less than 100 feet above the ground. The object simply blinked out of existance after a few seconds. no sound."
