"Matt Boerema MUFON #18871Was out smoking before I was heading to bed. My view from my back deck I can see Orion(making sure my north/south are correct for the earlier questions) I had seen an amber light through the trees but thought it was a star. I knew Venus had been out and I knew where that was, but since this seemed more amber I thought it was something I hadn't seen through the trees before.I kept an eye on it, it seemed like it was swaying and gaining altitude. I thought I was keeping my stationary view through the trees-and the wind or leaves made it seem like it was just harder to see the light.That's when I finally noticed it was moving! It seemed to ascend after I finally realized it wasn't a star. It moved over my head and HAVE video of it, but I NEED to buy/find my cable. (stupid)As it passed over there seemed to be no noise, but we do have a highway not too far away. However, it did seem to turn into a plane as it flew overhead because the lights started flashing almost like an airplane and hadn't before. So, I do have my doubts that it wasn't anything more than an airplane.I had looked at flight tracker 20 minutes or so after I got my computer up and running, but I hadn't seen anything near us/let alone from the Branson airport(KBBG).So, I will purchase and or find my cable tomorrow and hopefully it showed up on the camera I had. I will send daytime photos of the area as well."
