Witness Testimony

"I was driving on Hwy 199 North, headed towards Grants Pass Oregon. I was approximately 3.0 miles from the city just south of the Rogue Community College entrance. I noticed a white light with a red light, to my left, on the other side of the Hwy. My thinking was these were lights to a plane. As I came closer to the object I realized it appeared to be stationary (not moving). I pulled over the car and watched the object which was hovering in my estimate between Hwy 199 and Redwood Ave. I had just come from my daughters basketball game, reached in the back seat for my camera which was a cannon rebel. As I reached for the camera the object then accelerated on a heading SW. It moved at a quick pace and was gone rather quickly. I was not able to take any photos. I clearly saw the triangle shape. I cant say the exact color of the object but it appeared from my vantage that it was dark in color. I did not see any other lights, nor did i hear any sounds."
