"On July 11th,2014,at approximately 2130,while attending no alcohol birthday cookout in Newnan, Georgia, observed bright white object at high altitude traveling from south to north.Object flared brilliantly then rapidly dimmed to dull,reddish orange color. Object then made abrupt u-turn and took a southerly track.Object was lost in glow of full moon.Object's speed was about one-third that of jet aircraft. Object was under observation for nearly 15 minutes and covered several degrees of arc."
